The IGY6; 1st Rock Climbing
On November 5, 2022, The IGY6; Foundation brought veterans and first responders together for an exciting rock-climbing experience focused on challenging ourselves, building confidence, and strengthening connections.
Rock climbing is about more than reaching the top. It requires trust, patience, problem-solving, and the willingness to push beyond your comfort zone. Every climb presents a new challenge, reminding us that progress happens one step at a time.
For our veterans and first responders, experiences like this offer an opportunity to step outside the familiar, face new challenges, and encourage one another along the way. Whether climbing the wall, supporting a teammate, or celebrating someone else's achievement, each moment reinforces the importance of teamwork and camaraderie.
At The IGY6; Foundation, we believe outdoor and recreational activities can open doors to personal growth, new experiences, and meaningful relationships. Trying something different can help us rediscover our strengths, build confidence, and realize that we are capable of more than we sometimes believe.
